2026 MTA Price Increase

The MTA has approved a fare increase that will change how much it costs to get around New York City starting in early January 2026. Express bus fares and single-ride ticket prices will also increase, and MetroCard sales are ending as the system fully transitions to the contactless OMNY payment method.
